Yes, NEM 2.0 will be grandfathered in for existing solar customers for 20 years. Note: New solar customers do NOT have to have solar installed by April 13th to Qualify for NEM 2.0, you only need to have your solar plans submitted by the April 13th deadline.
With NEM3, the surplus energy credit rates go down from an average of 24¢ to 8¢/kWh starting April 15, 2023.
